Domestic goddess

Spent the morning at home, tidying and cleaning. This is slightly easier now the toys are in the girls' bedroom but it is still quite a challenge. If it were up to me if have a big clear out but it's not up to me it is, after all, not my place so often it is a case of just moving stuff around. However stoor was removed, plates and dishes washed and the floor swept and mopped. I didn't tackle the study area though, nor the kids' bedroom. That can wait another day: one step at a time.

In the afternoon I went to the pool, swam a bit and dozed. The water is chilly, cool nights, a lot of rain and lower than normal daytime temperatures are probably the causes, possibly due to the IOD causing lower temperatures in SE Asia. However today normal service was resumed and there was a thunderstorm just after 4, which is just as well as there girls were brought home early from holiday club.

An evening of talking, TV, i-pad, eating, showering. #1 son, who is suffering from a sore shoulder and was at home all day, went to do some Christmas shopping and WH can't back from dinner with her Singaporean friend.
