Flood!

My local nature reserve was closed today due to flooding. The millpond round which it meanders is fed by 2 streams, both of which were in full flow due to the overnight heavy rain. The millpond then flows out via the lock gates into Red River.
As you can see the lock gates are doing a grand job controlling the flow, but this is normally just a light trickle with the mill race ( to the left) totally dry!
