Silhouette is such a great word

It sounds so funny to me to say, "The gardener came today." We are really not people who usually hire folks to do our work. But he did come, and thank goodness for that. He did more in four hours than I can ever imagine doing in a week: all the roses are pruned, a dead tree removed, and various brush and tangle are gone. As for me, I did way too much weeding of sour grass, and Mr S started work on the fruit trees. Ah, the excitement of year-round gardening. Those of you who are in the snow, be glad!
