To, slightly, paraphrase a prehistoric advert:-

Is it just me, or did you spot a sneaky "Scotland the Brave" tucked away in there somewhere?

If truth be told, I was getting a wee bit brassed off  hearing  Mabel telling me that it is actually:- 
the  "Loneliest Time Of Year"  irrespective of whether or not she is sooth-saying.
 
I'm guessing the song engendered the "Doll"?

Besides, the old lad is only an annual; whereas the extra's a perennial?
