Christmas concert

The schools music service came in to do a Christmas concert for the children. Katie was very pleased to be picked to drum for We Will Rock You!

It was also her class Christmas party this afternoon. She came out a bit disappointed- she didn’t like that they had to do their eating before the dancing & games in the hall because it made her tummy hurt and she didn’t like that all her classmates in her group were whinging about sandwiches and such! She thought it was very funny though that her friends found it weird seeing her in skinny jeans!

We had intentions of some music and such when we got home but she was quite clearly not feeling very well so we snuggled with a movie and put her to bed early. It didn’t pay off well though as she woke up an hour later achy and burning up. She was awake pretty much until midnight.
