New Printer!

Invested in a new photo printer - my Canon is now doing odd things with colours, and putting rows of tiny dents in thicker paper.
Only problem with this beast is that I need it to work wirelessly - should be no problem you would think.
But it won't talk to my wifi network!
It's too big to keep in our living room ( A3, so BIG box! ) with the computer, so it has to go in the spare room.
Anyone had similar problems?
