Bossa Nova Concert in Biscui

Wednesday food market in the morning, bit of Aptis work in the afternoon, the final of The Apprentice (happy with the winner) in the early evening and then this bossa nova concert in Biscui, a little restaurant up the top of our street.  I'd been told it started to arrive at 8pm, but 'better to arrive around 7.30'.  We arrived then to find out it had started at 7pm!  There were about a dozen of us there and at one point Bb turned to me and said, 'You know, we're probably the only people here who aren't family or friends'.  It turned out that we were amongst the few people who didn't actually get up and take the mike!  Think Buena Vista Social Club and their enthusiasm and support for each other made up for the odd flat note or missed entry.  This little venue surprised us tonight, just as it did last year.  All this for the equivalent of about 5 euros a ticket!   We then stepped next door to Tipicamente for some pasteis to finish the night off.
