Welcome to Middle Earth.

Today we had to get up at 6 and get our taxi to the airport for our flight to New Zealand. Nadi airport was much bigger than we expected. Auckland Airport was really nice and very Lord of the Rings/Hobbit themed. As we landed we saw one of the decorated Hobbit Air New Zealand planes. Then we came across dwarven arches on the way to passport control. Then a themed mural and then this Welcome to Middle Earth sign. Sam was very excited.
It didnt take long to get through the airport and then we got the bus to near our hotel. Our hotel is really nice- we basically have a studio apartment (with a washing machine!). We went for a bit to explore and to get somethings for dinner. For dinner I made spaghetti bolognese, but we didn't have a cheese grater- so Sam peeled the cheese with a vegetable peeler- very funny! Then we checked emails etc and enjoyed having internet again!
