Very Large Puddle
Another very wet day. The fields at the back of our house are full of water, one looks more like a large pond. I feel so sorry (not!) for the developers whose excavations for the new housing will, no doubt, be filling up with water!
I went to Stoke Mandeville Hospital this morning to photograph a baby on behalf of the charity Remember My Baby. This charity provides a free professional portrait session for parents whose babies die before, during or shortly after birth. These are not the easiest sessions to do but so worthwhile. The lasting images provide a constant memory for the parents and families. So sad for the lovely mum and her family. RMB is always looking for pro-level portrait photographers to swell the ranks and ensure that no needy family misses out on a session. If you could offer your services or know someone who could then please contact RMB or me.
I cannot post any images taken this morning but, walking out of the hospital, there was an enormous puddle in front of a bus stop. Nobody was waiting at the stop but they could have been drenched if a passing car deviated just a little bit!
I paused just long enough to catch the trees reflected in the puddle.
