A dark day

Today we went to celebrate the life of a lady who's husband was friends with Cs parents. A lovely couple both in their 80s. I admired how Ron had the nerve to deliver his late wife's eulogy... It was a good funeral as funerals go and the 100+ mourners gave her a good send off in St Mary's Church in the village of Ivinghoe where they were married.

On the wall of the church yard is an impliment. 100 points if you can tell me what it might have been used for. See extra.

There's another extra showing 2 of June's old tennis buddies. They all used to play together at Aylesbury tennis club. The lady of the right still plays occasionally and the lady on the left gave up only a couple of years ago.

Home then having parked in a very muddy field to more rain en Route. The girls are out tonight so I'm here with Merlot, a bottle of red and the tv.

Thamks to everyone for calling in and special thanks for your comments stars and hearts for yesterday's pictures.
