Cutting through the gloom

A wet walk to Pilates. Followed by a wet dog walk. The footpath by the beck was in parts underwater. Jet misjudged the edge and ended up rather surprised to be swimming! 

Back home in the dry it took Jet a while to dry out and he has not moved from the fire since it was lit. I had to keep him company of course.

Once the rain had stopped popped out to take this photo. Like this illuminated tree better than the Christmas tree.
