Memories

This pewter pharmacy reminds me of the one at the bottom of the road when I was small - not as old as this of course, but the wooden counter with the chair for the customer, the small drawers and glass display bottles and the 'chemist' in his white coat were the same. The pharmacy where I did my apprenticeship in 1957 was a bit more modern but still basically the same - you see them in museums now!
