Christmas lunch

The youngest‘s nursery organised a really lovely lunch today. We started in the church with a mini service and some beautiful singing, then the very nice vicar told a story (you can guess the theme!) before we headed back to nursery for lunch. The youngest spent most of the time on my lap buried in cuddles - he did most of his singing before escaping to the safety of my lap

Lunch was pretty darn good: the nursery owners also own a pub, so they half the pub to the nursery - the furniture from the function room, two chefs, crockery, cutlery and some Prosecco for the parents (or, also for the youngest who managed to get a mouth full when I wasn’t looking!)

It was so special having some time just with the youngest, it doesn’t happen often. He had the afternoon at home a d was equally delighted to have mummy and daddy to himself. Although we have almost finished laying 50 square foot of floor over the past 2 days, so have been a bit preoccupied to give to boys 100% attention. The eldest pitched in and helped as soon as he got home from school.
