Wet December Day

It was fine this morning, but we missed the moment and when we went for our walk it poured down on us.  I didn't dare take the camera out of its bag, so I played about with a bit of macro when I got home.  There now follows a health and safety announcement. If you ever go out to the garage to find a lightbulb, realise the lightbulb box is on a top shelf, notice the handily placed stepladders folded and propped against the wall, fail to unfold them and fail to notice that the floor is slippery, don't do what I did and try to climb them.  I put my foot on the second step, reached for the box on the top shelf and, too late, felt the friction that held stepladder feet against slippery floor let go. Clatter and sprawl left me entwined with the damned thing. Could easily have broken a leg, but didn't, just cuts and bruises.  Silly boy.
