Raining popcorn

I never read reviews before seeing a film, but my expectations where high having seen the stage show in London a couple of times. The cast was good and fitted the characters well but if you didn't know the story line you wouldn't follow the film.
With the stage show, the cats use the aisles so the audience feels part of it. Being a film it fell a little flat in the area.
Having now see the IMDB reviews and scores I think the critics are a little harsh, but fair.
