The garden centre is ready with lovely baskets of plants to take as gifts. I was there to buy a plant for a WI member who needs cheering, but I may well come back on Christmas Eve for one of these.
I managed to avoid the rain which fell most of the day. I was tempted to drive to Leatherhead to see where the River Mole has flooded but decided against it. Luckily we are high up, well away from any problem.
