Twisted
I spent the morning of the Saturday immediately before Christmas taking photographs of the gravestones in Cumbernauld Old Parish Church kirkyard. Perhaps not everyone's first choice, but in my view much preferable to Christmas shopping.
It's part of a project to document the stones in the historic churchyard and, to be fair, today was as much a social event as anything else. We spent the first half-hour drinking coffee and eating cake and, after about an hour 'in the field' with cameras and clipboards, returned to the Session House for more coffee and some mincemeat pies as well as a good wee blether.
Took this photo of a tree in the kirkyard as my contribution for my Blip diary. Tempted to say that it's as twisted as I am.
Bus into Falkirk for a quick trip to the shops later, but didn't buy much.
