Moss

More parkrun tourism today, this time to Plean near Falkirk. A very up-and-down course, mainly off-road with plenty of mud and stony/tree-rooty paths - great fun but not quick. It didn't rain and wasn't too cold and afterwards we had a walk around the country park.
There are old coal bings at either end, (the mines closed in 1963) now colonised by birch and various sorts of moss and I believe there is a good variety of flora, though not much in evidence today.
Not done a hugh amount since I got back but might get a few things done before bedtime
