Look What Happens ...

when you leave your bike against the railings here.

I went to the city on the bus yesterday - two hours there and two back, with just enough time to get a few gift cards from John Lewis and to claim my free coffee and cheese scone. And to take a quick blip in Elder Street. It's not the most photogenic part of Edinburgh, especially now that the new St John's Centre is rising from the crater of the old one.

I enjoyed my four hours on the bus, listening to my audio book, and knitting a sock, and watching the passing scene. And all for free!
