Mummers

We called into Glenties museum this afternoon, after 2 short walks on Narin beach, for a different sort of Christmas event.
After some carol singers, the Mummers, aka the Christmas Rhymers performed a short play. Some of the characters were Jack Straw,  Beelzebub, Oliver Cromwell, Big Head, the Captain, Devil Doubt, Jonny Fonny & Santa ( a brief appearance) more about Mummers here.
The reindeer was a miniature pony with socks on! Ridiculous really.
