A Street Party!!!

Today was the day that a wonderful, sweet lady, opened her villa up and invited everyone on our street to com from 1-4 for a meet your neighbor, Christmas Party!   Everyone invited showed up!   The food was terrific, the laughter was continuous, new friends were made, and there was absolutely no food left over!   I brought a shrimp plate and 2 loaves of cranberry nut bread.  Cheeses, crackers, dips, cheeses, deer hordivours,  wine, beer, tea, water, cookies, cakes, pies, cheesecake......   Oh my goodness I can't remember everything......
Except, there was nothing to clean up.  It was all eaten.  Everyone was happy, in a terrific mood, jolly, and even sang Christmas Carols!    
     The joy and happiness of the season was shared by some terrific people today.  There was plenty of joy and good will going all around.  The anger and division that is tearing the US part was put away today.  Only kindness, friendship, charity towards all others was on display.
     If only it could last for more than the Christmas season.
