Couldn't resist a very short walk before breakfast to get a closer look at the wonderful frost. And look at who I saw eyeballing me from the other side of the fence that cuts off the marshes! This pretty little roe deer just trotted up, gave me a really good moment to fumble around/try not to drop the camera in excitement/realise I was on all the wrong settings, then trotted away again once I'd bagged the shot. Sometimes it's hard not to admit that winter can be the most beautiful season of all..
