Sci-fi?

Having stayed in all day finally finishing The Artist's Why and avoiding the rain, I was without a blip until I noticed the lights of a police car across the avenue.  I thought the finished photo had a rather science-fiction look to it, space craft perhaps hovering over a very urban landscape.  

It has finally stopped raining after nearly two days non-stop.  We caught more than 4 inches, and made Friday one of the top ten rainiest days in recent Seattle history.  Tomorrow is supposed to be dry, which will mean I can get to the printer for the calendar and join the mobs at the supermarket.

It's Winter!  How did that happen?
