Seeing A Star War

I had intended to stay in bed to catch up on z's whilst Rich hit the cinema for the latest Star Wars, but after another rough night I woke up fairly early (for me) and so joined Rich at the cinema. Some mildly spoilery thoughts below, so read my final paragraph at your own peril! After the Star Wars viewing, we popped to lunch at O'Neill's and then headed into Town for a couple of make-Stace-feel-less-sorry-for-herself beers. This boysenberry triple fruited gose was delightful! Now we're back at home settling in for a movie and some Mr Kipling chocolate orange whirls (NOM!)

Right, Star Wars. The Rise of Skywalker basically walks back everything new and interesting from The Last Jedi, poops on it, then does a lot of things we've seen before from this franchise. It sidelined a female character just to appease internet idiots, and generally was a fairly crap end to both this trilogy and the Star Wars saga in general. I did not like.
