The calm after the storm

The kids have been packed off with G&G this morning for a weekend visiting relatives in Newcastle. It was good timing as after all the recent rain our garden flooded again!! Anglian water came to the rescue and have found the root cause of the problem this time so fingers crossed it shouldn’t happen again!

My brother and his wife have also managed to have a kid free night so are coming over for a curry and a few drinks down the local. Me and Qwerty are having a bit of quiet time before they arrive.
