Out up Kinder Scout

A great day to be alive and in the hills.

The fields in the background to this shot from last summer is where I walked today, for the first time since we moved here. I'd been too scared of getting lost in the peat bogs but today I had a guide. We didn't walk right to the top, but even so it felt epic to me. Much walking, much talking and a latte I practically fell in to at the end.

I couldn't find a shot that showed the scale of this place, so have a 'DebsP' little slice instead. Enjoy :-)
