Little Donkey

This is Dusty the donkey - today’s choir mascot at our big community choir concert at Bingley Arts Centre today.  A matinee and an evening performance with up to 180 choir members involved.  The stage didn’t look as if there would be room for us all, but we all fitted on, and the interesting part came when different parts of the choir sang individually, and we had to move round to the back of the stage and then step  forward behind the back curtains.  Logistical nightmare, and no time to practice it.  It got a little muddled, but we got there!  Great fun, and hopefully a good show for our enthusiastic audiences.  The concert also raised around £6000 for our chosen charities!  Drinks and laughter with our MD and some choir members afterwards, but my back is now in agony, my feet hurt, and my voice has given up - roll on the next year of singing!
