Out of the gloom

I set off out of a gloomy village this morning to see a friend in Bradford for coffee.

Reaching the next village I found I had risen above the valley fog and come out into the sunlight.

This high point is called Swain Royd, between Wilsden and Sandy Lane and as you can see the sun is peeping through the clouds but I am about to descend back into the fog hugging the valley bottom. I decided this would be a good spot for today's blip. At the other side of the road you can see the fogLooking down into Sandy Lane
The houses beyond the fog are at the top of Allerton where I used to work.

It has been a very cold day
