The Pill

After a reasonable nights sleep, phone rang at 07.30 this morning. Some 008 number which I did not answer! But it had woken me. So up, showered, dressed, breakfasted, and out to do battle with the Christmas shoppers. First port of call was Tesco Extra, parking was chaotic but spotted a space and backed in quickly. Grabbed a trolley and whizzed around without too many hiccups and joined a fairly short queue. Managed to get out from the car park no problems. 
So then up the hill to Sainsbury's. Well the queue just to get anywhere near was horrendous, so went around the roundabout, and headed back towards home and parked at the back of the store and walked in, got a basket picked up the few items I wanted in there. And out! I know Tesco are closed Boxing Day but the others are open, as someone commented it is only a roast dinner! :-))

So decided to go straight along to the Pill, park up and take a stroll in the peace and quiet with camera in hand. The tide was out, there were a few waders around. Saw one egret. The sun came out to light up the mud flats which is my blip for the day.
