The final straw

Now to anyone who doesn't know us we had a little llaso also puppy. She will be 2 in June this year. For a long time now she has been partial to a wee nibble of the kids fingers....... We have taken the view "she is only a puppy and she will grow out of it!!"..... I wish we hadn't as this is the result on my little Jessica's foot. Jessica is ok but the dog is going to the dogs trust tomorrow morning. No longer will I make excuses for her behaviour.

The kids were all heartbroken today when I told them but fully understand the reasons why.

The guilt I feel for not putting this to an end when it first happens will eat at me for a long time to come and even as I type this the years are rolling down my cheeks!
