Sir Arthur

For a change, this afternoon I went to Crowborough for some last minute Christmas shopping. 
I usually go on Christmas Eve just as the shops are opening, which is a much better tine. 
I've driven past the statue of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle many times; this was the first time I've stopped to take a closer look. He looked much more relaxed than most people in the town.
