Getting ahead

Family outing to the local garden centre for a spot of breakfast And to check if the butcher shop there had chicken livers - lovely breakfast and they did. Somehow have agreed to make a choice of 3 starters fir Christmas Day - prawn cocktail, bruschetta and chicken liver parfait.

Braved the big shop at Asda - in and out in under an hour. Veg was 20p a bag - bargain!

Home to finish the ironing whilst Mr PHL took young Mr PHL in to the station - he is off to see end a couple of days at his girlfriends before they both come down on the afternoon on Wednesday.

Made the parfait - a bit of a faff and got Mr PHL to flame the brandy as I was too chicken - tastes not too bad if I say so myself!
