OFF TO ANOTHER FIRE....

..... with the slight change to conditions, much lower temps and winds behaving, all the activity seems to be back burning and use of this monster retardant/water dumper by the firies! 
The conditions up in the Blue Mountains around Blackheath and Katoomba are best shown by checking out Hobbs report and also to get a feel for the ferocity in the area check out Trisharooni report and pics! 

And so amid all of this, many without a roof over their heads for Christmas, it will be hard to totally get into the "spirit" of it all.

What ever, and where ever, one thing is for sure, the "Aussie spirit" will in the end shine through and allow at least some light at the end of this never ending tunnel!!

The promised rain did come today but a mere drizzle, more a hinderance than a help.
