Christmas Eve treat

For Tiny Tuesday with thanks to Carol Dunham for hosting. Not my own baking, a special Christmas almond paste pastry wreath from a department store to go with a nice cup of tea now that three walls in the living room are all freshly painted. One more dash to the nearest supermarket (I did get up very early for the main grocery shopping but of course I did forget something(s)) and then the real cooking and baking can begin.
