Christmas Eve

A working day, but an early finish. So ends my last calendar year in full time employment, big changes afoot for 2020. And as it is my last Christmas at the Civic, appropriate to blip this scene taken at the start of the day.

The building is tastefully decorated for Christmas. As always, at the top of the clock tower the local pigeons are grouped, plotting their day as it gets lighter.

Now at home listening to a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from Kings College, Cambridge. A bit of a tradition with us on Christmas Eve.
