Christmas Parkrun

Thanks to the sodden weather, the drove turned into a quagmire during the week. Overnight, the organisers rerouted the course so it was on tarmac only. It was therefore a faster course, so they made it a tad longer than 5k to avoid false personal bests (PBs). I appreciated this, otherwise I might have got a PB that I would never be able to beat, instead of my current PB, which I am unable to beat.

The weather first thing was pouring rain, but by the time everyone started turning up, the sun was out and the sky turned blue. I could even feel the warmth of the sun on my skin.
