With a little help from my friends

The Dizzle’s recovery was aided by a visit from the Tel Aviv police today who were bringing gifts to people in hospital over Chanukah. No idea who the woman with the cow is.

His recovery is slow but sure, but he is being incredibly brave as the drip fed immunoglobulin treatment is painful and tiring.

We’re all missing each other terribly and everything feels unreal whether you are in Israel or back here in England. Lots of digital paperwork to do with the insurers and the hospital. Doesn’t feel like Christmas at all.

Hoping for more improvement tomorrow. Maybe even a Christmas miracle...
