Happy birthday

My niece very kindly hosted a small celebration for her friend’s 18th. It had been going to be held at her friend’s house but they’d evacuated 40 horses the day before, and then brought them back. A fun evening with four 18 year olds.. they’ll be tired tomorrow.

Sad news coming yet if the bushfire zone, at least one fatality, houses burned, trees down and the fire continues. We were out shopping today and it was a somber mood in the local area with many stories of what people or their friends lost.
