Emergence II

A cold day today, but the longer days make it feel more like spring. It was really nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine until after 5 p.m.

The 4" thick sheet of ice on our driveway has finally melted, and my daughter was set on "going scootering" today. Here she is, heading out of the garage with gusto. This photo makes me realize she no longer looks like a toddler, but like a little girl. I can tell you, though, after all that fresh air and activity, she's sleeping like a baby tonight :)
