St. Andrews in the Valley

Dear Diary,

The welcoming front doors of my little church, St. Andrews in the Valley in Tamworth, NH.  It was standing room only for the children's service which I attend on Christmas Eve rather than the midnight service.  The "sermon" was geared to the children, telling the story of Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem.  When our priest told them that there was no room at the inn and they had to go to the stable, one little girl (probably around 5) spoke up, "Didn't they have a reservation?"  Ah, children.  It is why I go to this service every year.  Louisa and I will see what Santa Paws brought us shortly but I would like to wish all a joyous and peaceful Christmas Day!
