Dipper

I was lucky enough to get some very good views of a Dipper this morning.

I should really have tried a few more photos but was enjoying watching it disappear and re-appear from under the water. I was slow to try and capture it and then of course it moved too far away.

I'm sure there will be another day. This bird doesn't seem to be bothered by passing people and their dogs. Most people seem unware (and even uninterested) in the wildlife around them but perhaps they have too many worldly worries.
