Good Thursday

I didn't realize how many different birds were in my oen backyard and around the neighborhood until I started taking pictures this season. This one looks very strange to me.

I must confess, usually hate Thursdays. Mostly because by Thursday you have had enough of the school week. Thursdays are loaded with busy work and Friday seems so far away, the weekend seems beyond reach.

But today was different. Tomorrow is a teacher work day. My largest assignments of the year are done and turned in. All is well. No need to race to finish homework nor stay up late. Instead I relaxed, watched television, and played basketball. Not bad for a Thursday. I even found out I made the Prom Court. I guess I don't find out who will be crowned until that night. Which reminds me, I need to get a tux. Would a white tux with a purple vest look too strange (my date is wearing purple)? Maybe I'll just go black and white like last year.
