Xmas Day Frolics

Today’s the day. Supposed to be a quiet day at home. Instead we are having a very pleasant lunch at nearby Italian Friends, C with her two young kids. Her brother and cousin are over from Italy (they live in the beautiful region of the Cinque Terre).

An earlyish hour’s stroll on the beachfront, blue sky, sunny and mild. Then packed the prezzies, and a 5 mn drive to Southbourne.

Now Mr B is entertaining them. He had moaned all morning (“we were supposed to stay home”, “he’d looked forward to the grilled chicken drumsticks he had prepared for lunch” etc.). But as usual he’s now the life and soul of the party.

They all had fun with the ‘Splatter Face’. Bit like Russian Roulette. Tho’ D kept playing until well splattered. See my blip. Needless to say I abstained (good excuse, cream not vegan).
