Christmas in Stroud
We went to bed late, woke early when Bomble was howling at the spare room door (what happened about the valerian? Apart from that, he's still relatively laid back).
Morning was followed by a lunchtime walk in the sunny cemetery/nature reserve. Steve can now walk much further than when he had his hip op, although I'm shocked to realise that that was nearly six months ago! The good weather had brought out whole families, including one who were scattering ashes. This shot shows the path at the far end of the old cemetery.
Afterwards, we had drinks and presents, followed by a non-traditional lunch of lime and chilli sea bass with rosemary potatoes, parsnips, broccoli and mangetout. We all helped to prep it. Later we had home made ice cream, my grandmother's recipe.
Now we're dozing in front of the fire, watching Christmas TV. Hope your day was fun, whatever, you were doing.
