Christmas Day

D and I were awake early and had to wait for the children to get up. They eventually came in and opened their stockings then we went down to do the big presents. Alf’s main present was a new guitar and Poppy got Air pods.
My parents arrived after church and then Alice and we had some champagne. D cooked an amazing lunch as usual. After lunch we had a little break (I had a nap) then we opened the rest of the presents and started eating all over again. We had a few games which Poppy was very good at taking charge of, a few drinks a a few laughs.
Altogether, a very nice Christmas Day.
