WE'RE HERE AT THE WIER
Woke to a lovely day upon here where you'll always find a ready smile and a friendly nature, had a big big breakfast before a walk along to St Peters Wharf to capture The Wearmouth Bridge, built in 1929, Dearest Grandfather use to run the Wood Yard that stood where you see the buildings to the right of the photo & suppled a lot of the materials needed for its construction.
We headed over to Family in Seaham for a couple of hours then headed home, we did mean to cook ourselves a proper Christmas Dinner (those in Seaham are all vegetarians...not my sort of thing at Christmas) but as we both still felt stuffed from Breakfast we never bothered, Cheese & Crackers & Sherry Trifle sufficed, we'll do Christmas tomorrow!
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas.
