Dorset Square, Marylebone

This little park is surrounded on 4 sides by beautiful terraces of houses near Marylebone station. The garden is private you need to live round there and have a key to get in. I've walked past often but today (in search of blip) I found the the plaque on one of the wooden buildings. In 1787 Thomas Lord laid out his original cricket ground on this site and the MCC was founded here the same year. Of course Lords and the MCC are about 10 minutes walk up the road form here now.
