Ladybird, Ladybird........

Meg made a paperweight at school for my birthday......

......now, I normally leave treasures like this out on show for a few days then 'file' them, along with the;

handprints/footprints,
very-glitter-prints,
macerated-macaroni-glueings,
paper-crowns/foil-helmets (spears & axes),
self-portraits (impressionist),
family-portraits (cubist),
pet-portraits (abstract) and
various assorted raffia/macramé/papier-mâché artwork.....

.....oft presented (in a named carrier bag) at the end of term.......

However, as it was for my birthday, I decided to take it with me this morning to use at work, heaven knows I have enough paper.

I think Meg was pleased ;)
