Christmas Day

We had a lovely Christmas Day with great food and company - Hubby, his sister, my sister and a girlfriend. Too much food and too much to drink and a lot of fun was had.
My sister and I were relaxing/passed out on the couch after everyone had left when we noticed a Tawny Frogmouth outside the window. I was so excited - I love these creatures. I ran outside with camera and no shoes to see if I could capture it when it flew off but settled in a tree. I had no long lens on the camera and it was getting dark. I had to climb up on the fence to see it but managed a reasonable albeit grainy image.
