ANOTHER FIRE FIGHTER...

.... this is another of the Rural Fire Services improved arsenal of equipment to support the "hero firies" on the ground.
Plane 165 was returning to base at the Richmond Airbase late today.

The efforts made while the weather has quietened, has been amazing. 
With fires still burning through the Wollemi National Park known as the Grose Valley and Gosper fires, all are hoping the back burning and containment lines will be enough to help minimise activity when the predicted change of heat and wind come back in a couple of days.

Trust all in the Northern hemisphere had a superb Christmas Day, while we enjoyed the food left overs, and watching the Test Cricket, and the start of this years Sydney to Hobart watch race. The weather for this looks like offering a chance to have the fastest time recorded by the big maxi Yatchs.
